Atelectasis caused by Double Lumen Endobronchial Tube-A Case Report-

Abstract
|
|
|
A 37 year old female patient is described in which double lumen endobronchial tube caused atelectasis of the right upper lung in a case of left bronchiectasis with communicating esophagobronchial fistula undergoing a left lowr lobectomy and esophagobronchlial fistulectomy.
Her atelectasis was completely cured by active management of I.P.P.B. and inhalation of oxygen and high humidification through a jet type nebulizer without any medication.
